This committee's purpose is to address environmental issues, transportation problems, housing density, schools, and parks; to create opportunities for well-sited commerce; to reduce urban sprawl; and to promote sustainable growth and development. During the July 23, 2013 Board of County Commissioners's meeting, the South Gulf Cove Advisory Committee recommended to the Board to sunset the Advisory Committee.
